Acetylene Hydrochlorination Over CeO2 Promoted Au/Al2O3 Catalyst

CeO2‐doping γ‐Al2O3 supported Au catalyst was prepared through extrusion and impregnation method and used in the acetylene hydrochlorination to vinyl chloride. Ce doping distinctly improved the catalytic activity of the Au/γ‐Al2O3. The suitable CeO2‐doping amount was 5 wt%.
