Bound Water as a Reinforcing Element for Ultra‐Strong Polyacrylamide
Rather than acting as a conventional plasticizer, bound water serves as a reinforcing element in polyacrylamide by constructing strong PAM–water–PAM hydrogen‐bond networks. This water‐mediated architecture delivers ultra‐high mechanical strength and exceptional flame resistance, redefining the role of water in polymer reinforcement.

Occurrence and Concentrations of Halogenated Flame Retardants in the Atmospheric Fine Particles in Chinese Cities [PDF]
The concentrations of halogenated flame retardants (HFRs) in PM2.5 were monitored for one year at 10 urban sites in China during 2013-2014. This study investigated four classes of HFRs: nine polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), six nonbromodiphenyl ...

Balancing Bulk Solution Chemistry and Cation Solvation for Stable Aqueous Aluminum Batteries
A dual‐scale electrolyte design balances bulk solution chemistry and cation solvation in aqueous aluminum batteries. Regulation of the bulk solution preserves high ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability, while modulation of the Al3+ solvation environment lowers desolvation penalties and suppresses hydrogen evolution. This balanced electrolyte
