Flame Stabilization Using Tri-Vane Flame Stabilizer
Flame stabilization means stabilizing the flame i.e., proper mixing of fuel and oxidizer. It is a critical aspect in the design and operation of combustion systems, particularly in jet engines, afterburners, and industrial burners. This study explores the concept of flame stabilization using a Tri-Vane Flame Stabilizer, a geometric device designed to ...

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Burning velocity of premixed turbulent flames in the weakly wrinkled regime [PDF]
PhDTurbulent burning velocities have been measured for methane/air and ethylene/air planar flames stabilised in a wide-angled conical diffuser where the flow is decelerated axially.

Effect of graphene nanosheets on morphology, thermal stability and flame retardancy of epoxy resin [PDF]
Effect of graphene nanosheets (GNS) on morphology, thermal stability and flame retardancy of epoxy resin (ER) was investigated. GNS was partially exfoliated, large and flat graphene flakes exists in ER/GNS nanocomposites.

Path‐decoupled III–V van der Waals memtransistors spatially separate ionic and electronic transport to overcome the conventional trade‐off between accuracy and energy in neuromorphic hardware. Mobile K+ ions in the vdW gaps set a wide conductance window, Gmax/Gmin, while gate‐tunable hole conduction lowers programming energy, enabling reliable ...

Triple flame structure and diffusion flame stabilization
The stabilization of diffusion ñames is studied using asymptotic techniques and numerical tools. The configuration studied corresponda to parallel streams of cold oxidizer and fuel initially separated by a splitter píate. It is shown that stabilization of a diffusion flame may only occur in this situation by two processes.
