Dynamic behavior of a freely-propagating turbulent premixed flame under global stretch rate oscillations

Dynamic features of a freely propagating turbulent premixed flame under global stretch rate oscillations were investigated by utilizing a jet-type low-swirl burner equipped with a high-speed valve on the swirl jet line. The bulk flow velocity, equivalence ratio and the nominal mean swirl number were 5†m/s, 0.80 and 1.23, respectively.
