Medytacja nad Pustką. Konteksty buddyjskie w „Końcówce" i „Szczęśliwych dniach” Samuela Becketta

open access: yesPrzestrzenie Teorii, 2007
Thanks to Buddhist contexts, present in S. Beckett's two long plays (The Endgame and The Happy Days) we understand that death, signifying the ultimate Nothingness and Emptiness appears to be the change of the perceiving substance, which getting rid of ...

Microsphere‐Modulated Sensing‐in‐Energy Supercapacitor With Self‐Filtering Ultra‐Large Signal Under High‐g Shocks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To overcome severe signal oscillation under extreme impact conditions, this work presents a Sensing‐in‐Energy microdevice which integrates a MEMS inertial structure directly within a supercapacitor electrolyte cavity. Utilizing shock‐driven transient contact and electrolyte damping for signal self‐filtering, it achieves weak‐oscillation, large ...

Burning velocity of premixed turbulent flames in the weakly wrinkled regime

open access: yes, 2005
PhDTurbulent burning velocities have been measured for methane/air and ethylene/air planar flames stabilised in a wide-angled conical diffuser where the flow is decelerated axially.

Flame transfer function and disturbance energies in gaseous reacting flows [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The general objective of this thesis is to extend the understanding of combustion instabilities by testing models, physical concepts and numerical procedures, and by providing new numerical post-processing tools to do so. Flame transfer function (FTF) :

NLSS3 Impairs SHM1 Autophagic Degradation to Regulate Leaf Morphology and Salt Tolerance in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rice, NLSS3 binds and shields SHM1 from autophagic degradation to maintain serine homeostasis. The A132P mutation in nlss3 disrupts this, triggering SHM1 loss, metabolic dysfunction, K+ imbalance, and impaired ROS scavenging, which collectively drive narrow leaves and salt sensitivity.

Self‐Adaptive Non‐Flammable Wallpaper With Layered Bead‐Network Structure for Light Path Modulation Enabling on‐Demand Building Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A layered bead‐network wallpaper is designed to modulate the light propagation path, overcoming the color residue limitations of thermochromic components for efficient automatic switching between radiative cooling and solar heating modes. The layered bead‐network wallpaper provides passive, all‐season thermal regulation while offering self‐cleaning and

An experimental study of the transfer function of a ducted, laminar premixed flame [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This paper presents an experimental study of the transfer function of a ducted, laminar, premixed flame. This transfer function is defined as the ratio of the fluctuations in flame heat release to the flow velocity modulations at the base of the flame. A
