Novel Non‐Cytotoxic Acylphosphinates and Acylphosphine Oxides Photoinitiators
Novel acylphosphine oxide (APO) and acylphosphinate photoinitiators based on DPO and DOPO were designed to investigate structure–property relationships including photochemical performance, polymerization efficiency and cytotoxicity. While DPO derivatives showed excellent reactivity, DOPO‐based systems also displayed good efficiency and significantly ...

Modulation of Local Environment for Selective Bicarbonate Conversion to Multi‐Carbon Products
Highly porous Cu electrode partially coated with an ionomer/carbon composite enables efficient conversion of bicarbonate to multi‐carbon products. By regulating the local reaction microenvironment, this strategy overcomes selectivity and reaction‐rate limitations, achieving Faradaic efficiencies of 43% for ethylene and 60% for total multi‐carbon ...

ZnHfOx catalysts enable highly selective hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol over a wide range of Zn contents, as the Zn‐VO‐Hf active motif (VO = oxygen vacancy) exists not only in solid solution‐type ZnHfOx for low Zn contents (≤ 35 mol%), but also as HfOx cluster/single atom decorated ZnO surfaces for Zn contents > 95 mol%.

Measurement of atmospheric sesquiterpenes by proton transfer reaction-mass spectrometry (PTR-MS) [PDF]
The ability to measure sesquiterpenes (SQT; C15H24) by a Proton-Transfer-Reaction Mass Spectrometer (PTR-MS) was investigated.

The flame describing function and flame dynamics under self-sustained oscillations
International audienceTransfer function concepts that appear in many areas and most notably in control systems have been extensively used to represent the flame response in low order models of combustion instability. Much of the theoretical work is based

Synthesis of functionalized polyolefins in a new continuous bench‐scale reactor apparatus
Abstract In‐reactor functionalized polyolefins (FPOs), produced by molecular catalysts, are a new class of polymer materials with applications ranging from high performance adhesives to bitumen compatibilization. In this work, we disclose a procedure for the synthesis of FPOs in a new Continuous Bench‐scale Reactor Apparatus (COBRA).

Flame Transfer Function Measurement of a Hydrogen-Blended Sequential Combustor
The flame transfer function (FTF) relates acoustic perturbations and the coherent heat release rate response. This frequency-dependent function governs the thermoacoustic stability of a combustor.
