On mathematical modelling of flameless combustion
Combustion and Flame, 2007A further analysis of the IFRF semi-industrial-scale experiments on flameless (mild) combustion of natural gas is carried out. The experimental burner features a strong oxidizer jet and two weak natural gas jets. Numerous publications have shown the inability of various RANS-based mathematical models to predict the structure of the weak jet.

Solid fuels flameless combustion
2022Flameless, also called moderate or intense low-oxygen dilution (MILD) combustion, is an advanced technology to increase combustion stability, enhance thermal efficiency, and reduce pollutant emissions. Flameless combustion of solid fuels has received much less attention than gaseous fuels, and its burning characteristics are not well understood.

Biogas Flameless Combustion: A Review
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Biogas which is produced by the anaerobic digestion of biomass and organic wastes by micro-organisms is biodegradable. Biogas is a type of renewable energy sources that can be used for lighting, heating, and transportation and small-scale power generations.

Efficiency of flameless venting devices
Process Safety Progress, 2003AbstractOver the last 10 years, several flameless venting devices have been globally available to extinguish flames discharged from a deflagration vent. These devices have primarily been used on industrial equipment located indoors with the potential for explosions or deflagrations.

Flameless Candle with Multimedia Capabilities
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2012A flameless candle having speaker and lighting capability is provided. Multiple of such flameless candles can be used in a system to generate stereo or surround sound, as well as various lighting modes. The flameless candle or flameless candle system can have AM/FM radio functions, clock functions, alarm functions, etc., and can be used as an audio ...

Ammonia chemistry in a flameless jet
Combustion and Flame, 2009Abstract In this paper, the nitrogen chemistry in an ammonia (NH 3 ) doped flameless jet is investigated using a kinetic reactor network model. The reactor network model is used to explain the main differences in ammonia chemistry for methane (CH 4 ) containing fuels and methane-free fuels. The chemical pathways of nitrogen oxides (NO x ) formation

Trace analysis by flameless atomic-absorption spectrometry
Talanta, 1972The operating conditions of an atomic-absorption system based on flameless atomization have been investigated for trace analysis for Al, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg and Mn. The sample solution on a tantalum strip was atomized by electrical heating in an inert atmosphere within an absorption chamber. This technique allows the use of small sample sizes and results in
