Ambrose Burnside, the Ninth Army Corps, and the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House
The fighting on May 12, 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House evokes thoughts of the furious combat at the Bloody Angle. However, there is another aspect of the fighting on May 12, that is, incidentally, at another salient.

Rainfall Variability along the Southern Flank of the Bambouto Mountain(West-Cameroon) [PDF]
This paper presents the rainfall variability along the southern flank of the Bambouto mountain. Data were collected from rain gauges, while spatial variability was estimated through daily recorded data. Monthly and annual data were used to draw isohyetes

In this article we study the behavior of the solutions of non-autonomous damped wave equations when some reaction terms are concentrated in a neighborhood of the boundary and this neighborhood collapses toward the boundary as a parameter approaches ...

Flow‐Induced Vascular Remodeling on‐Chip: Implications for Anti‐VEGF Therapy
Flow‐induced vascular remodeling plays a critical role in network stabilization and function. Using a vasculature‐on‐chip system, this study reveals how physiological VEGF levels and flow affect vascular remodeling and provides insights into tumor vessel normalization.

The coherent heterostructure and the strong stress field at the heterointerface upshift the d‐band center of vanadium toward the Fermi level, which effectively lowers the Na+ diffusion barrier, facilitates charge transfer and accelerates reaction kinetics.

Energy Efficency In Housing: An Evaluation Of The Importance Of Increased Wall Thickness [PDF]
In April 2002 revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations were introduced, to improve the energy efficiency of UK buildings. For many housing schemes using traditional masonry cavity walls this may result in an increased cavity width and a consequent

Non-autonomous approximations governed by the fractional powers of damped wave operators
In this article we study non-autonomous approximations governed by the fractional powers of damped wave operators of order $\alpha \in (0,1)$ subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions in an $n$-dimensional bounded domain with smooth boundary.

Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials with Tunable Thermomechanical and Acoustic Properties
This study introduces Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials (CPSMs), which overcome TPMS design limitations by mapping 2D cellular layouts onto 3D surfaces. CPSMs exhibit enhanced elastic stiffness, thermal conductivity, and acoustic performance compared to intact P‐type shellulars, demonstrating their potential as multifunctional ...
