Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Review on Tooth Flank Fracture Failure of Hardened Gears

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2022
There is a new tooth failure mode for hardened gears called tooth flank fracture(TFF). ISO published a technical specification for calculating the load capacity of tooth flank failure in 2019.

Molecular determinants of signal transduction in tropomyosin receptor kinases

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Tropomyosin receptor kinases control critical neuronal functions, but how do the same receptors produce diverse cellular responses? This review explores the structural mechanisms behind Trk signaling diversity, focusing on allosteric modulation and ligand bias.

Non-autonomous approximations governed by the fractional powers of damped wave operators

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2019
In this article we study non-autonomous approximations governed by the fractional powers of damped wave operators of order $\alpha \in (0,1)$ subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions in an $n$-dimensional bounded domain with smooth boundary.

SmallTalk: a novel small‐sized fusion tag for peptide expression and purification

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The SmallTalk fusion tag allows for the efficient expression and purification of soluble recombinant proteins or peptides in Escherichia coli. Testing with SmallTalk‐GFP confirmed that the proteins were soluble and folded correctly, while SmallTalk‐Bin1b maintained its antimicrobial activity against various bacterial isolates. This streamlined workflow

Finite fractal dimensionality of attractors for nonlocal evolution equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2013
In this work we consider the Dirichlet problem governed by a non local evolution equation. We prove the existence of exponential attractors for the flow generated by this problem, and as a consequence we obtain the finite dimensionality of the global

Dynamic Response Analysis of Tooth Root Crack Failure in Helical Idler Gear System Under Different Working Flank Conditions

open access: yesActuators
Helical idler gear transmission systems can adapt to high-speed, heavy-load working environments and are thus widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, and other heavy industry sectors. Root crack is one of the common fault types.

Autophagosome marker, LC3, is released extracellularly via several distinct pathways

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study establishes a novel HiBiT‐tagging system for ultrasensitive detection of LC3, revealing multiple pathways for its extracellular secretion. It demonstrates that LC3 is released via both autophagy‐dependent and ‐independent mechanisms, including a novel route for nonlipidated LC3‐I.

Continuity of the set of equilibria for non-autonomous damped wave equations with terms concentrating on the boundary

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2019
In this article we study the behavior of the solutions of non-autonomous damped wave equations when some reaction terms are concentrated in a neighborhood of the boundary and this neighborhood collapses toward the boundary as a parameter approaches ...
