Expanding the PIV Spectral Range and the Turbulence Generated by Grid of Prismatic Circular Cylinders [PDF]
The grid turbulence past a grid made of row of prismatic circular rods (rod diameter = 10 mm, rod spacing = 20 mm) perpendicular to the flow is observed by using a pair of PIV cameras.

Flat coordinates of flat Stäckel systems [PDF]
In this article we explicitely construct transformation bewteen separable and flat coordinates for flat Stäckel systems and exploit the structre of these systems in flat coordinates. In the elliptic case these coordinates become well known generalized elliptical coordinates of Jacobi.

ON HOMOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION OF MONOIDS BY CONDITION (PWPsc) OF RIGHT ACTS [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce Condition (PWPsc) as a generalization of Condition (PWP_E) of acts over monoids, and we observe that Condition (PWPsc) does not imply Condition (PWP_E).

Flatness of the Meckel cave may cause primary trigeminal neuralgia: a radiomics-based study
Background Neurovascular contact (NVC) is the main cause of primary trigeminal neuralgia (PTN); however, cases of PTN without NVC are still observed. In this study, the Meckel cave (MC) morphology in PTN were analyzed by radiomics and compared to healthy

FPGA Design for On‐Board Measurement of Intermittency From In‐Situ Satellite Data
Intermittency is a fundamental property of space plasma dynamics, characterizing turbulent dynamical variables as well as passive scalars. Its qualitative and quantitative description from in‐situ data requires an accurate estimation of the probability ...

Heredity and evolution laws of flatness defects in steel strip temper rolling processes
Three-dimensional temper rolling processes are simulated by nonlinear elastoplastic finite element software called ABAQUS. In this simulation, the initial flatness defects of steel strips are modeled by the temperature field, and the adjustment effect of

Improving Etched Flatness by Micro Airflow Array Pressurization in ITO Glass Laser Machining
In laser etching of ITO glass, the warpage due to workpiece positioning causes breakpoint or deformation of micron-scale etching circuits. Based on traditional laser etching, a micro-airflow array pressurization is proposed by using a micro-flow air ...
