Knowing education in Thailand like a global expert organisation: Politics, context and data

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Global expert organisations play increasingly significant roles in the way that education is understood and governed internationally, including by influencing the discourses through which education is conceptualised and shaping norms of what counts as success, failure, progress and the most desirable visions for the future.

When the Remedy Is Worse Than the Illness: Carbon Performance and Growth Opportunities Under the EU ETS

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines how the European Union Emissions Trading System allowance prices reshape the link between corporate environmental performance (CEP) and firms' growth expectations, measured by Tobin's Q. Using a panel of 1370 listed firms across 15 European countries from 2005 to 2024 and high‐dimensional fixed‐effects models, we first ...

High Thermoelectric Performance Achieved by Manipulating the Band Structure and Lattice Dislocations in n‐Type Ge/Pb/Br Codoped Polycrystalline SnSe

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Pb/Ge/Br codoping in n‐type polycrystalline SnSe induces band convergence and high‐density dislocations, yielding a high power factor of 7.47 μW cm−1 K−2 and ultralow lattice thermal conductivity. Consequently, a peak ZT of 1.6 is achieved, overcoming the traditional performance limitations of n‐type SnSe.

Machine Learning Paradigm for Advanced Battery Electrolyte Development

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Electrolyte materials determine ion transport kinetics within the bulk and interphases, ultimately influencing the performance of battery systems. As data‐driven paradigms increasingly reshape materials discovery, this review provides an application‐oriented exploration of the intersection between machine learning and electrolyte science. By evaluating

Does ESG Performance Reduce Default Risk in Insurance Firms? Evidence From Life and Non‐Life Sectors

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines whether environmental, social, and governance performance is associated with lower default risk in European insurance firms, and whether the strength of this association differs between life and non‐life business models.

Do Investors React Differently to GHG Emission in Stock Pricing Across Firms? Evidence From Commonwealth African Countries Using a Novel Wavelet‐Enhanced QQR Approach

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the intricate and asymmetric relationship between corporate greenhouse gas emission disclosure and stock returns and crash risks, focusing on listed firms in six Commonwealth African countries characterized by regulatory fragility, limited investor protection, and growing climate vulnerability.

Plasmakristall‐4 Experiment: 10 Years of Operation in Orbit

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Plasmakristall‐4 (PK‐4) is a microgravity complex plasma laboratory operated for 10 years on board the International Space Station. Its main purpose is the particle‐resolved investigation of generic condensed matter phenomena using strongly coupled suspensions of microparticles immersed in low‐pressure gas‐discharge plasmas.
