Genomic characterization of a new torradovirus from common fleabane (Erigeron annuus)

Archives of Virology, 2022
A new virus was detected in common fleabane (Erigeron annuus) showing virus-like symptoms including leaf yellowing, mosaic, and mottling. This virus is tentatively named "fleabane yellow mosaic virus" (FbYMV). The complete genome sequence consists of two RNA segments of 7,133 nt (RNA 1) and 4,810 nt (RNA 2), excluding the poly(A) tract.

A chromosome‐scale draft sequence of the Canada fleabane genome

Pest Management Science, 2020
AbstractBackgroundDue to the accessibility of underlying technologies the ‘Omics’, in particular genomics, are becoming commonplace in several fields of research, including the study of agricultural pests. The weed community is starting to embrace these approaches; genome sequences have been made available in the past years, with several other ...

STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF ORGANIC ACIDS OF ANNUAL FLEABANE

Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical and Pharmacoterapy Journal, 2022
In the 21st century, plants continue to remain a source of obtaining new biologically active substances, cre-ating prerequisites for the combination of creating new promising drugs of various directions of action. The aim of this work is to study the organic acids of the herb of the Annual fleabane (Erigeron annuus).

Glyphosate-resistant Hairy Fleabane (Conyza Bonariensis) in Spain

Weed Technology, 2007
Forty-three Spanish populations of hairy fleabane, sampled from perennial crop locations, were studied under controlled and field conditions to confirm and characterize glyphosate resistance. In the initial screening, under controlled conditions, significant differences in glyphosate response between locations and among plant progenies within location ...

Glyphosate-Resistant Hairy Fleabane (Conyza bonariensis) Is Reported in Greece

Weed Technology, 2010
Overreliance on glyphosate can increase the risks of reduced efficacy of the herbicide on weeds and weed resistance, even in regions without glyphosate-resistant crops. That is the reality in Greece, with frequent reports of reduced efficacy of glyphosate against increasingly problematic weeds, such as Conyza spp.
