Meaningful Service Classifications for Flexible Service Descriptions
2011 IEEE World Congress on Services, 2011We present a formal underpinning for \textit{Web service classes} by viewing them as a set of services that fulfill a logical combination of constraints on functional and non-functional properties. A hierarchy of service classes is automatically derived by their formal definition and can be exploited for an efficient service retrieval.

Toward Flexible Wireless Data Services
IEEE Communications Magazine, 2019In today's wireless data market, the growing data demand and more severe market competition force mobile network operators (MNOs) to offer more flexible wireless data services. Many MNOs are experimenting with novel data mechanisms generalizing the traditional three-part tariff data plan involving a fixed data cap.

Flexible retrieval of Web Services
Journal of Systems and Software, 2004An important issue arising from Web Service applications is how to conveniently, accurately and efficiently retrieve services from large-scale and expanding service repositories. This paper proposes a flexible Web Service retrieval approach, which solves this issue by means of an orthogonal service space and establishing the multi-valued specialization

Flexible Pipes In-Service Monitoring
23rd International Conference on Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering, Volume 3, 2004Offshore flexible pipelines are designed to operate without intervention throughout the life of field, which can be 20 to 30 years long. The monitoring of these lines is more and more often considered and implemented with two main objectives: to confirm that the risers and flowlines operate within safe working limits and enable the assessment of the ...
