All-graphene edge contacts: Electrical resistance of graphene T-junctions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Using ab-initio methods we investigate the possibility of three-terminal graphene "T-junction" devices and show that these all-graphene edge contacts are energetically feasible when the 1D interface itself is free from foreign atoms.

Robust Placement and Control of Phase-Shifting Transformers Considering Redispatch Measures

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Flexible AC transmission systems (FACTSs) can maximize capacity utilization under time-varying grid usage patterns by actively controlling the power flow of the transmission lines, e.g., with phase-shifting transformers (PST).

Optimised Congestion Management Using Curative Measures in Combined AC/DC Systems with Flexible AC Transmission Systems

open access: yesEnergies
Due to the increasing demand for transport of electrical energy, measures for power flow control, congestion management, and higher utilisation of the existing grid play a decisive role in the transformation of the power system.
