Sensors And Flexible Production
Optical Engineering, 1984This paper deals with the state of the art and some development trends in Germany of sensor-controlled equipment for industrial automation. It gives a review of research and application work done at the Fraunhofer-Institut (IPA). The basis of this application work is a system- and hardware-independent software library that delivers structured and ...

Cheap or Flexible Sensor Coverage
2009We consider dual classes of geometric coverage problems, in which disks, corresponding to coverage regions of sensors, are used to cover a region or set of points in the plane. The first class of problems involve assigning radii to already-positioned sensors (being cheap ).

Flexible magnetoimpedance sensor
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2015Abstract Flexible magnetoimpedance (MI) sensors fabricated using a NiFe/Cu/NiFe tri-layer on Kapton substrate have been studied. A customized flexible microstrip transmission line was employed to investigate the MI sensors's magnetic field and frequency responses and their dependence on the sensors's deflection.

Flexible magnetoimpidence sensor
2015 IEEE Magnetics Conference (INTERMAG), 2015Recently, flexible electronic devices have attracted increasing interest, due to the opportunities they promise for new applications such as wearable devices, where the components are required to flex during normal use[1]. In this light, different magnetic sensors, like microcoil, spin valve, giant magnetoresistance (GMR), magnetoimpedance (MI), have ...
