Influence of Rrsin and Thickness of Laminate on Flexural Properties of Laminated Composites [PDF]
Fiber reinforced plastics have been widely used for manufacturing aircraft and spacecraft structural parts because of their particular mechanical and physical properties such as high specific strength and high specific stiffness.

Natural Aging of Biomaterials in Ambient and Physiological Environments
Biomaterials used in biomedical applications can change their physical properties over time, even under ambient and physiological conditions. This review highlights key studies on the natural aging of materials ranging from soft hydrogels to metals and ceramics, emphasizing how time‐dependent changes influence function and performance.

Key demographic, biological, and material considerations that drive the need for advanced injectable bone cement technologies. Injectable bone cements (IBCs) are widely used in orthopaedic and craniofacial applications due to their minimally invasive delivery and ability to provide early mechanical stabilisation.

Kevlar is traditionally modeled as a rigid‐rod polymer, yet rheological behavior deviates from this assumption. The review introduces a novel “twist‐tie” entanglement theory for aramid polymer chains in the nematic liquid crystal state, providing a molecular explanation for deviations from rigid‐rod models. Understanding twist‐tie entanglement dynamics

False failure in flexural fatigue tests
Flexural fatigue tests are typically run under displacement or in a straincontrolled mode. In these tests, either the oscillatory displacement amplitude or strain amplitude applied to the bottom of the specimen is kept constant. The evolution of loading required to cause fatigue is then measured.

Flexural behaviour of beams externally reinforced through shot-pin shear connectors
A study on flexural behaviour of test beams which are externally reinforced with plates through shot-pin connectors is presented here. The study formulates equations for design and investigation, for strength and servicibility, of externally reinforced ...
