Flicker ERGs from normal human eyes are recorded using an averaging technique. After 300 msec the curve is in a stationary phase with strict periodicity. It is constructed by algebraic summation of individual flash responses with “head‐to‐tail” overlapping in higher frequencies. At a flash frequency of 25 cps.

Critical Flicker Frequencies in Flicker Perimetry

Flicker fields from 270 individuals between 6 and 95 years of age were grouped into nine age ranges, each covering a decade and containing 30 individuals. For each decade, mean critical flicker frequencies were computed for 49 points of the visual field situated on the horizontal, vertical, and oblique meridians from 0° to 60°.

Binocular flicker appears faster than monocular flicker

Observers adjusted the frequency of an auditory click to match the apparent flicker rate of a sinusoidally modulated visual display. Matches made for binocularly viewed flicker were nearly twice those for monocularly viewed flicker but only at high rates of temporal modulation.

Abstract The method of approach used in the study of flicker noise in positive grid triodes is applied to pentodes with some modifications.
