Influence of Burn Severity on Avifaunal Communities in Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous Forest, Western Ghats

Effects of burn severity [pyrodiversity] on avian community were studied in a tropical deciduous forest of Western Ghats. Bird community composition varied significantly across burn severity classes and the pyrodiversity‐biodiversity hypothesis was supported. Functional guilds showed contrasting patterns in the postfire environment.
