Research Progress of Magnetic Flocculation in Water Treatment
As people’s material quality of life continues to improve, water resources become subjected to varying degrees of contamination. As one of the most commonly utilised agents in water treatment, a flocculant exhibits a diverse range of forms and a vast ...

In an aqueous alkaline medium, fatty acids (from the hydrolysis of triglycerides or freely present in the oil) are ionised in order to form emulsifiers (carboxylates) which will physically stabilise the prepared emulsion. The higher the free fatty acids content of the oil and alkalinity of the solution, the higher will be the stability of the prepared ...

Abstract Traditional heat processing technology restricts the direct development of lipophilic polyphenols (LPPs)‐fortified foods. For achieving a balance between high retention of biological activity and optimal edible quality, encapsulation of LPPs by proteins/polysaccharide complexes or conjugates‐based nanocarriers (PPCCNs) as food ingredients has ...

MXenes are considered highly promising next‐generation energy storage materials due to their exceptional physicochemical and electrochemical properties, yet their electrochemical performance is severely hindered by nanosheet restacking. Constructing in‐plane pores directly on MXene nanosheets has emerged as an effective strategy to accelerate ion ...

We report a 13‐year‐old female with a giant right ventricular myxoma extending to the pulmonary trunk. The tumor was diagnosed by multimodal imaging and completely resected, with favorable short‐term outcomes. ABSTRACT Right ventricular (RV) myxomas account for < 5% of cardiac myxomas and are often asymptomatic, easily overlooked.

This study evaluated biochars from co‐pyrolysis of sewage sludge and cashew residues on physical quality of a degraded loamy sand soil. SPB applied at 20 Mg ha−1 reduced bulk density by 7.74%, whereas most porosity attributes were driven by soil reconsolidation rather than biochar. Aggregate stability varied with biochar type, with SPB promoting larger
