ABSTRACT Dynamic surface reconstruction critically governs the performance and durability of oxide‐based electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), yet controlling this process under operating conditions remains challenging. Here, we demonstrate that lattice strain regulates the extent of surface reconstruction in perovskite oxides by ...

This article explores how the integration of a thin shell, combined with optimized surface chemistry, enables the design of photodiodes based on short‐wave infrared HgTe nanocrystals. These photodiodes achieve an open‐circuit voltage greater than half the optical bandgap, which drastically reduces dark current. The article also explores the integration

Humid‐Air Condensation Heat Transfer on Hierarchical Structured Superhydrophobic Graphite Composites
Humid‐air condensation on graphite composites shows that making a surface superhydrophobic is not sufficient to enhance heat transfer. A hierarchical CuO/lauric‐acid coating yields spherical droplets but promotes Wenzel‐type pinning and adds effective thermal resistance under operation.

Collection, storage and management of high-water marks data: praxis and recommendations
High-water marks data, in its most general definition, is a precious source of information for the many stakeholders involved in risk culture, inundation mapping, river, estuarine or coastal studies, etc. Although there have already been many initiatives

Using remarkability to define coastal flooding thresholds. [PDF]
Coastal flooding is increasingly common in many areas. However, the degree of inundation and associated disruption depend on local topography as well as the distribution of people, infrastructure and economic activity along the coast.

Influence of the Substrate Temperature on the Growth Mechanism of Allylamine Plasma Polymer Films
The influence of the substrate temperature on the growth mechanism of allylamine plasma polymers is investigated by correlating the plasma chemistry and the physico‐chemical properties of the coatings. New insights about the mechanistic formation of functionalized plasma polymers at a molecular level are provided, paving the way toward a better ...

Understanding Operando Water Management in Hydroxide‐Exchange‐Membrane Fuel Cells
Effective water management is vital for high‐performance hydroxide‐exchange‐membrane fuel cells. Using a custom water‐flux station, this study quantifies how membrane thickness, microporous layers, and operating conditions dictate internal water transport.
