Identification of a change in climate state using regional flood data [PDF]

open access: yesHydrology and Earth System Sciences, 2002
Flood frequency analysis typically assumes that annual floods arise from a single distribution and are independent. However, there is significant evidence for the existence of persistent climate modes. Timescales associated with climate variability range

Life‐Cycle Assessment of Printed Electronic Components ‐ Case Study for Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This tutorial introduces a practical framework for implementing early‐stage Life‐Cycle Assessment (LCA) in flexible and printed electronics. Using organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) as a case study, the modular Process‐of‐Record and open‐access inventory provides a rich resource adaptable to a plethora of technologies in printed electronics ...

Comparison Of Hydrological Homogenization Methods For Development Of Flood Regional Models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Water resource management, design of hydraulic structures such as bridges, dams, roads and railways, land use management and flood control depend on reliable estimates of flood with various risk of exceedance. Lack of funds and human resources in many

Wood‐Based Bioelectronics: Lignosulfonate‐Based Conductive Biocomposites for Paper Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Biodegradable wood‐based bioelectronics are realized by integrating poly (2,3‐ethylenedioxythiopene:lignosulfonate (PEDOT:LigS) as a mixed ionicelectronic channel in organic electrochemical transistors fabricated on paper substrates. The biocomposite exhibits high conductivity, biocompatibility, and strong transistor performance, while devices built on

Havran Çayı’nın (Balıkesir) Taşkın Sıklık Analizinde Gumbel ve Log Pearson Tip III Dağılımlarının Karşılaştırılması

open access: yesCoğrafi Bilimler Dergisi, 2008
So many floods occurred on the Havran River in the past. From 1981 to present, floods have not occurred due to decreasing of rainfall intensity and some constructions on the river channel.

Flow alteration-ecology relationships in Ozark Highland streams: Consequences for fish, crayfish and macroinvertebrate assemblages [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We examined flowalteration-ecology relationships in benthic macroinvertebrate, fish, and crayfish assemblages in Ozark Highland streams, USA, over two years with contrasting environmental conditions, a drought year (2012) and a flood year (2013).

Selective Electrolysis of Water Under Artificial Seawater Conditions Using Transition Metal Borate Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The borate‐based cobalt‐iron catalyst promotes selective oxidation of water rather than chlorine evolution reaction during electrolysis of seawater. When integrated into a zero‐gap electrolyzer prototype, this catalyst supports robust splitting of artificial seawater into oxygen and hydrogen on an extended timescale.
