Self-Organization of Microscale Condensate for Delayed Flooding of Nanostructured Superhydrophobic Surfaces.

open access: yesACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2016
Superhydrophobic surfaces enhance condensation by inhibiting the formation of an insulating liquid layer. While this produces efficient heat transfer at low supersaturations, superhydrophobicity has been shown to break down at increased supersaturations.

High‐Throughput Fluorescence Screening Enables Globally Consistent Identification of ABA Signaling Modulators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper establishes a global high‐throughput fluorescence screening (GhitFluors) platform to efficiently identify ABA signaling modulators. It effectively identifies diopyridin, a regulator with strong binding affinity to PYR1, and more than 80% inhibitory activity against HAB1, which is equivalent to ABA.

Advanced Temperature Design for Dynamic Performance Enhancement of PEMFCs Under High Current Density (HCD)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an innovative temperature difference (TD) design with an in‐plane gradient to optimize cooling channels in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) under high current density (HCD) loading. The positive temperature difference (PTD) design improves dynamic response by enhancing hydration upstream and mitigating flooding ...
