Scalable H2O2 Production via O2 Reduction Using Immobilized Vanadyl Phthalocyanine

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Electrochemical H2O2 production via 2e⁻ ORR is a green alternative to the emission‐heavy anthraquinone process, but selectivity at practical current remains low. We develop a vanadium catalyst composite achieving >90% H₂O₂ selectivity at 3.5 A cm−2 in acid.

Polymer Flooding Dynamics in Enhanced Oil Recovery: A Pore‐Scale Study of the Influence of Shear‐Thinning Rheology on Flow Dynamics and Recovery Efficiency

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
This study explores how polymer behavior affects oil recovery in porous rocks. It shows that shear‐thinning polymers become less effective at high flow rates, reducing oil displacement efficiency. The findings highlight the need to optimize polymer injection rates and formulations for better recovery.

Morphology and function of pinniped necks: The long and short of it

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Terrestrial vertebrates from at least 30 distinct lineages in both extinct and extant clades have returned to aquatic environments. With these transitions came numerous morphological adaptations to accommodate life in water. Relatively little attention has been paid to the cervical region when tracking this transition.
