Unifying Floquet Theory of Longitudinal and Dispersive Readout
We devise a Floquet theory of longitudinal and dispersive readout in circuit QED. By studying qubits coupled to cavity photons and driven at the resonance frequency of the cavity $ω_{\rm r}$, we establish a universal connection between the qubit AC Stark shift and the longitudinal and dispersive coupling to photons.

An Overview of Modeling, Stability, and Control of Flapping Robots [PDF]
Flapping drones have been the focus of attention for various reasons, such as the ability to fly scilently at low speeds and also high maneuverability. This article describes the history of flapping robots and their importance in engineering and how to ...

Floquet theory for integral and integro-differential equations [PDF]
We study the extension of Hill's method of infinite determinants to the case of integro-differential equations with periodic coefficients and kernels. We develop the analytical theory of such methods, and we obtain certain qualitative properties of the equations that determine the boundaries between regions of dynamic stability and dynamic instability.

Floquet theory of Cooper pair pumping
We derive a general formula for the charge pumped in a superconducting nanocircuit. Our expression generalizes previous results in several ways; it is applicable in both the adiabatic and in the nonadiabatic regimes and it takes into account also the ...

Continuous Floquet theory in solid-state NMR
This article presents the application of continuous Floquet theory in solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Continuous Floquet theory extends the traditional Floquet theory to non-continuous Hamiltonians, enabling the description of observable effects not fully captured by the traditional Floquet theory due to its requirement for a periodic ...

The Floquet Theory of the Two-Level System Revisited [PDF]
Abstract In this article, we reconsider the periodically driven two-level system especially the Rabi problem with linear polarisation. The Floquet theory of this problem can be reduced to its classical limit, i.e. to the investigation of periodic solutions of the classical Hamiltonian equations of motion in the Bloch sphere.

The computational procedure for investigation vibration stability of a flexible rotor consisting of an asymmetric shaft, one disc, and supported by ball bearings is developed in this work. Lagrange equations of the second kind were used for derivation of

Floquet calculations of atomic photo-electron spectra in intense laser fields [PDF]
We present the results of Floquet calculations of rates of photo-detachment from a short-range three-dimensional model atom in an intense high-frequency laser field.

A unified Floquet theory for discrete, continuous, and hybrid periodic linear systems
In this paper, we study periodic linear systems on periodic time scales which include not only discrete and continuous dynamical systems but also systems with a mixture of discrete and continuous parts (e.g. hybrid dynamical systems).
