Predicting the current and future suitable habitats, species distribution, and conservation assessment of Fritillaria dagana (Liliaceae)

open access: yesJournal of Asia-Pacific Biodiversity, 2023
Fritillaria dagana Turcz. has a restricted global distribution, occurring only in southern Siberia and northern Mongolia. Concerning its restricted distribution and endangered conservation status, we aimed to forecast its current and future suitable ...

Conditionally Significant eQTL and TWAS Analyses Identify MsRD26 as a Major Candidate Positive Regulator of Salt Tolerance in Medicago sativa L

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Salt stress significantly impacts plant growth. Through population transcriptome, eQTL and TWAS analyses, we identified several candidate genes potentially associated with salt stress response. Functional assays suggested that some of these genes may contribute to salt tolerance.

Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Network Pharmacology: A Methodological Paradigm Shift Bridging Traditional Wisdom and Modern Science

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Artificial intelligence is redefining network pharmacology (NP). By integrating knowledge graph engineering, geometric deep learning, multiomics anchoring, and generative reasoning, AI‐driven NP (AI‐NP) transforms static target mapping into dynamic, predictive modeling.

Phylogenomic insights into the genus Tulipa (Liliaceae): Taxonomy, evolution, and biogeography

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Botany, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise Tulips are one of the best‐known geophytes, but their taxonomy remains convoluted and their evolutionary history poorly understood. Here, we used plastid genomes to identify some issues with current classification, understand the diversification history of the genus, and identify potential species linked to historical cultivation ...

Wuwei Qingzhuo San Ameliorates Hyperlipidemia in Mice Fed With HFD by Regulating Metabolomics and Intestinal Flora Composition

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2022
Hyperlipidemia is one of the most common metabolic disorders that threaten people’s health. Wuwei Qingzhuo San (WQS) is a traditional Mongolian medicine prescription, which is widely used in Mongolia for the treatment of hyperlipidemia.

The coelurosaur theropods of the Romualdo formation, early Cretaceous (Aptian) of Brazil: Santanaraptor placidus meets Mirischia asymmetrica

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The upper carbonate concretion levels of the Romualdo Formation (Aptian, Brazil) have yielded several theropod dinosaur remains, including spinosaurids and the coelurosaurs Santanaraptor placidus and Mirischia asymmetrica, the phylogenetic affinities of which are controversial.

The genus Equisetum (Equisetaceae) in the flora of Mongolia

open access: yesTurczaninowia
Based on field surveys and herbarium specimens, we studied the genus Equisetum in Mongolia, where it has not been thoroughly studied previously. A total of nine species of Equisetum belonging to two subgenera are confirmed for the flora of Mongolia. We found several new distribution points of some Equisetum species in the phytogeographical regions: E ...

Exploring the cranial morphology and possible convergences of Triassic non‐crocodylomorph pseudosuchians (Archosauria: Pseudosuchia) with other sauropsids through linear morphometrics

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Triassic pseudosuchians had highly diversified cranial morphologies. These archosaurs occupied diverse ecological roles, ranging from terrestrial predators and herbivores to semiaquatic ambush predators and possible waders. Here, we apply linear cranial morphometrics to assess possible convergences with other sauropsids from the clades ...

Comparative Assessment of Landsat‐8 and SPOT‐7 Satellite Data With Field Spectral Measurements for Estimating Plant Diversity in Sandy Grasslands

open access: yesBiological Diversity, EarlyView.
We compared Landsat‐8 OLI, SPOT, and hyperspectral data for estimating vascular plant diversity in China's Hunshandak Sandland. SPOT data showed the strongest correlation with alpha diversity, followed by hyperspectral data, with Landsat‐8 performing the weakest.
