A New Record for the Flora of Turkey

Sicyos angulatus L. (Cucurbitaceae) is a new record of a genus for the flora in Turkey. It is reported from NE Anatolia (A8 Artvin). Descriptions of the genus and the species are given below.

Dermatophytic Flora of Ankara (Turkey)

During the period July 1, 1976, to December 31, 1978,1,227 dermatophytes were isolated from 2,702 specimens taken from suspected cases of dermatophytosis. The dermatophytic flora was found to consist mainly of anthropophilic species. Trichophyton rubmm was by far the most frequently isolated species.
