Reproductive biology of Stomatium bolusiae (Aizoaceae: Ruschioideae)
Flowers of Stomatium bolusiae are self-incompatible. The species exhibits crepuscular and nocturnal anthesis, exploiting two different pollination mechanisms. The structure of the hermaphroditic flower appears not to favour cross-pollination.
