The effect of flotation reagents on grinding
Powder Technology, 1968Abstract A hematite-quartz ore was ground in a rod mill and the size analysis and surface area of the products were determined. The fineness of the ground product decreased as the pH of the pulp increased. During grinding, hydration of the new surface is accompanied by abstraction of hydrogen or hydroxyl ions.

EFFECTS OF MODIFYING REAGENTS ON HUNTITE FLOTATION
Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy Review, 2006Huntite is one of the most important flames retardant additive materials. Although various areas of the world have potential huntite deposits, huntite's place in industry is not well known and a detailed field search for hunite's deposits has not been conducted yet.

The interaction of flotation reagents with reacting surfaces. A study on the flotation of cement
Chemical Engineering Science, 1985Abstract Fresh concrete can be separated into cement and aggregate by a single-step flotation process in aqueous suspension. The results of an experimental investigation comprising zeta-potential measurements, SIMS analyses and flotation tests are discussed.
