A Study of the Functions of Flotation Reagents in the Soap Flotation of Chalcopyrite
This work consists of (I) a study of the flotative properties of chalcopyrite in a nearly pure state, and (II) the application of the experimental information to concentrating low-grade chalcopyrite by flotation.(I) The experiments were performed with a 50-gram flotation machine of M. S. type, made of stainless steel.

An approach to the evaluation of froth flotation reagents based on the use of the SWARA and WS-PLP methods [PDF]
The selection of the most suitable flotation reagents is very important in the froth flotation process because the recovery of valuable minerals largely depends on the reagent regime. On the other hand, the particular characteristics of the ore excavated

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Effects of Flotation Reagents on Flotation Kinetics of Aphanitic (Microcrystalline) Graphite
The flotation method is widely used for the preliminary beneficiation of aphanitic (microcrystalline) graphite. However, there is limited literature regarding the effects of flotation reagents on the flotation kinetics of aphanitic graphite. In this study, six commonly used flotation kinetic models were used to fit the flotation experimental data of ...

Lipoprotein‐mimicking nanoparticles (SL‐NPs), comprising Fe3O4@SiO2 cores coated with liposomal bilayers, selectively capture lipoproteins through protein corona formation. The resulting SL‐NP‐lipoprotein complexes can be removed by low‐speed centrifugation, thereby enhancing the purity of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) isolated from human serum ...

TECHNICAL EVALUATION OF REAGENT DOSING PUMPING SYSTEMS IN FLOTATION CIRCUITS
Vale's ore processing plants use different types of pumping circuits for flotation reagent dosing. Most commonly, circuits with centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, and peristaltic pumps are used. Alternative arrangements can also be used, such as helical
