IMPACT OF REAGENTS-REGULATORS ON FLOTATION

open access: yes, 2023
A distinctive feature of the reagents of the group under consideration is the complexity and diversity of their impact on the process. Most often, the addition of regulators increases the difference in the surface hydration of the separated minerals, reducing the hydration of the particles being floated (activating their flotation) or increasing the ...

Microblasting Wound Dressings Mechanically Disrupt Polymicrobial Biofilms to Enhance Healing in Treatment‐Resistant Wounds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Treatment‐resistant wounds caused by polymicrobial biofilms are refractory to conventional therapies due to the dense extracellular matrices. We developed μBLAST, a microblasting wound dressing that combines MnO2‐doped biosilica and a H2O2‐releasing mesh to generate localized oxygen microbubbles that mechanically disrupt biofilms.

All‐Flex Plasma Patch for In Vivo Delivery of Reactive Species

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully flexible plasma patch enables stable, conformal treatment on complex biological surfaces and enhances transdermal delivery of reactive species. This platform achieves significant tumor suppression in vivo and reveals coordinated regulation of calcium signaling, metabolism, and programmed cell death, providing a promising strategy for safe and ...

The flotation of pyrite using xanthate collecters

open access: yes, 1986
Bibliography: leaves 117-123.The flotation properties of pyrite were found to be significantly influenced by variations in the pH. In acidic solutions the pyrite floatability is very high, and recoveries of 95% could be achieved using only a frother.

A novel approach to reagent selection for coal flotation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Considerable amounts of fine particles (smaller than 150 micron) are produced during the processing of coal. Significant value can be realized if this fraction can be economically beneficiated, disregarding the negative environmental impact of fine coal.

The role of nitrogen on the flotation performance of a complex sulphide ore

open access: yes, 2000
Bibliography: leaves 94-99.This thesis focuses on the role of nitrogen on flotation performance of a sulphide PGM ore. Merensky ore obtained from Impala Platinum mine, Rustenburg, was used in laboratory batch flotation tests.

Stiffness‐Activated Stellate Cells Drive Pancreatic Cancer Liver Colonization via GMFG‐TNS4 Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibrotic liver stiffness activates hepatic stellate cells through Piezo1‐dependent calcium influx and ER stress, promoting EV‐associated GMFG release. Delivered GMFG engages TNS4 in pancreatic cancer cells, triggering FAK/AKT signaling, adhesion, and fatty acid synthesis.

The interactive effect of depressant type and dosage with frother dosage in the flotation of a PGE ore

open access: yes, 2005
The valuable components of the platinum group element (PGE) bearing ores of the Bushveld complex in South Africa constitute between 1 % and as little as 0.1 % of the total mass. In the processing of these ores by flotation, the naturally hydrophobic talc
