Effect of particle size on flotation separation of hematite and quartz

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2020
Generally, the flotation performance of mineral particles in a wide size range is usually poor, which can be attributed to the high reagent consumptions and low floatability differences between valuable and gangue minerals. Classification flotation is an

Wearable Kirigami‐Apertured Capacitive Sensors for Continuous Cardiac Volumetric Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A wearable kirigami‐apertured carbon nanotube‐paper composite (K‐CPC) capacitive sensor enables cardiac volumetric monitoring. The kirigami process creates a central aperture with cantilevered fibers that confine the electric field, enhancing both sensitivity and lateral resolution.

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

Unraveling the Impact of Copper Ions on Mineral Surfaces During Chalcopyrite–Molybdenite Flotation Separation Using Sodium Thioglycolate

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The efficient separation of chalcopyrite from molybdenite is crucial for the utilization of copper–molybdenum ores and is inevitably influenced by the presence of metal ions in the pulp. However, the underlying impact mechanisms remain unclear.

Flotation separation of Xixia andalusite ore

open access: yesTransactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China, 2011
The flotation behavior of Xixia andalusite was studied with different collectors. The tests were conducted with a pure andalusite sample in micro-flotation cell and then with an ore sample in a mechanical flotation cell. The surface charge was measured on pure andalusite sample and the isoelectric point (IEP) was found to be pH 5.2.

A Novel Perfused Full‐Thickness Human Skin Microphysiological System for Modeling Injury, Regeneration, Tumor Pathophysiology, and Therapeutics Development

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
What if human skin could remain fully alive and functional outside the body for weeks? A New Alternative Method (NAM) based on a vascularized full‐thickness skin microphysiological system achieves precisely this, preserving native vasculature, resident immunity, and metabolic activity for up to three weeks, while faithfully recapitulating radiation ...

Effects of Metal Ions on the Flotation of Fluorite and Barite: An Experimental and Mechanistic Investigation

open access: yesSeparations
Fluorite (CaF2) and barite (BaSO4) commonly occur together in the same deposits. Due to their similar surface chemical properties, their flotation separation is often challenging.

FLOTATION SEPARATION OF SCANDIUM AND LANTHANUM OXALATE

open access: yesOdesa National University Herald. Chemistry, 2015
