N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) function as “molecular scissors,” cleaving otherwise inert Sb═Sb bonds in distibenes to generate monomeric, zwitterionic stibinide species. These intermediates act as efficient stibinidene transfer reagents, granting access to a rare terminal cobalt–stibinidene complex.
