Compositional Separation of Control Flow and Data Flow
Every Model of High-Level Computation (MHC) has an underlying composition mechanism for combining simple computation devices into more complex ones. Composition can be done by (explicitly or implicitly) defining control flow, data flow or any combination thereof.

Stability properties of a MIMO data flow controller
The increasing demand for data in mobile applications has created a need for better communications systems. To satisfy this growing data demand next generation wireless systems are planned to use millimetre wave carrier frequencies. At these frequencies, radio shadowing is severe. To compensate for shadowing, incoming data flows must therefore be split

Information Flow Model for Commercial Security [PDF]
Information flow in Discretionary Access Control (DAC) is a well-known difficult problem. This paper formalizes the fundamental concepts and establishes a theory of information flow security.

This paper presents CDDF, a model of computation underpinning the formal semantics of a number of parallel programming languages. CDDF integrates control flow elements for the dynamic construction of task graphs, and data flow elements to express dependent computations and to decouple these using unbounded streams (Kahn process networks).

A data–driven sensibility tool for flow control based on resolvent analysis
This study presents a novel application of data-driven resolvent analysis algorithm for flow control. The objective is to identify key coherent structures connected to regions of the flow that are highly sensitive to structural changes.

Object-based Control/Data-flow Analysis
Not only does a clear distinction between control and data flow enhance the readability of models, but it also allows different tools to operate on the two distinct parts of the model.

Research on intelligent vehicle Traffic Flow control algorithm based on data mining
Traffic Congestion (TC) is increasing due to urban growth and vehicle numbers, rendering the development of cities and people's well-being difficult. Traffic Prediction (TP) and control systems have been required to improve Traffic Flow (TF) and reduce ...

Dynamic Control Flow in Large-Scale Machine Learning
Many recent machine learning models rely on fine-grained dynamic control flow for training and inference. In particular, models based on recurrent neural networks and on reinforcement learning depend on recurrence relations, data-dependent conditional ...
