Flow Volume Loops in Patients With Goiters
Plain radiology is the standard means of assessing upper airway obstruction in patients with goiters. Flow volume loop curves will provide additional information, because they allow a quantitative assessment of airflow dynamics in the respiratory cycle. Fifty-one patients had flow volume loops performed before and after thyroidectomy.

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

A model of flow in a helium loop [PDF]
Naturally circulated helium loop is a device designed for a decay heat removal from fast nuclear reactors of the type ALLEGRO. The flow is provided by a potential energy difference between hot and cold piping branch. Here we introduce a 1D model of flow in the loop.
