Solution of thixotropic model parameters during shutdown and restart of gelled crude oil in loop
Thixotropy, an important index to measure the low-temperature fluidity of waxy crude oil, is crucial to the hydraulic characteristics and safety of gelled crude oil during pipeline shutdown and restart. In the existing process of solving the parameter of

The mycobacterial CIII‐CIV respiratory supercomplex is an obligate assembly, encompassing several subunits of unknown functions. We have characterized the intracellular subunit AscF, and show that it is unlikely to be a sensor for metals or nucleotides, but is required for growth on nonfermentable energy sources, and likely works as an adapter for ...

Model-Free Closed-Loop Control of Flow Past a Bluff Body: Methods, Applications, and Emerging Trends
Flow past one or multiple bluff bodies is almost ubiquitous in nature and industrial applications, and its rich underlying physics has made it one of the most typical problems in fluid mechanics and related disciplines.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Closed parasitic flow loops and dominated loops in networks [PDF]
The paper raises awareness of the presence of closed parasitic flow loops in the solutions of published algorithm for maximising the throughput flow in networks. If the rooted commodity is interchangeable commodity, a closed parasitic loop can effectively be present even if the routed commodity does not physically travel along a closed loop. The closed

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

The twisted gradient flow coupling at one loop
We compute the one-loop running of the SU(N) ’t Hooft coupof twelve-flavor SU(3) gauge theoryling in a finite volume gradient flow scheme using twisted boundary conditions.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
