Flow Volume Loops in Patients With Goiters
Annals of Surgery, 1992 Plain radiology is the standard means of assessing upper airway obstruction in patients with goiters. Flow volume loop curves will provide additional information, because they allow a quantitative assessment of airflow dynamics in the respiratory cycle. Fifty-one patients had flow volume loops performed before and after thyroidectomy.

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2017 Naturally circulated helium loop is a device designed for a decay heat removal from fast nuclear reactors of the type ALLEGRO. The flow is provided by a potential energy difference between hot and cold piping branch. Here we introduce a 1D model of flow in the loop.

Structural and biochemical analysis of a B12 superbinder
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.BtuG proteins are vitamin B12 scavengers in Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, a dominant human gut bacterium. We present crystal structures of three BtuG homologs bound to cobalamin and its precursor cobinamide, revealing picomolar binding affinities, among the highest known for any natural protein.
