Flow and its relationship with the mathematics classroom

2020
This thesis contributes to the field of mathematics education. Using a phenomenological approach, I investigated the multi-dimensional model of the flow phenomenon and its interdependence with the mathematics classroom. Learners of mathematics often have a great enjoyment when carrying out mathematical activities.

Mathematical Description of Turbulent Flows

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1982
The mathematical description of uniform density and thermally stratified flows in terms of space averages is reviewed. The governing equations are presented and the use of alternative space filters is discussed. Different models for Sub-Grid-Scale (SGS) turbulent transport are examined.

Mathematical Simulation of Flows In the Field of the Flow Separation

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2006
The modern space vehicles intended for flight in the space and returns to the Earth, operate in conditions of the considerable gas dynamic and heat loads. At designing of a thermal protection of space vehicle it is necessary to determine gas dynamic properties of streamlining of the vehicle, that calculate thermal effects on devices of its construction.

Toward a mathematical foundation for information flow security

Proceedings. 1991 IEEE Computer Society Symposium on Research in Security and Privacy, 1992
We describe a general purpose, probabilistic system model that can be used to model a large class of probabilistic (as well as deterministic) computer systems. We develop the necessary probability theory to rigorously state and reason about properties of probabilistic systems.

Mathematical Modelling of Traffic Flows

2003
We are concerned with mathematical modeHng of of traffic flow. In particular, well-posedness theory of various nonequilibrium continuum models of traffic flow are established.

The mathematical modelling of MHD flows

2009
The goal of this paper is to investigate the foundations of the mathematical modelling for turbolent MHD , with particular reference to incompressible fluids. A closely related issue involves the construction of phase-space approaches for ideal fluids (i.e., fluids descrbed as continuum media).
