Mathematical Models of Groundwater Flow

2000
Groundwater flow in the saturated zone is governed by the differential equation [Eq. (2.100)] with its boundary and initial conditions that we focused on in Chap. 2. The problem is generally three-dimensional but the most common type is a planar groundwater flow (seepage under or through a dam construction and, so on).

Mathematical Problems in Transonic Flow

1991
Abstract : This research was a continuation of the PI's studies of transonic flow about two and three dimensional lifting wings. The work was carried out in close collaboration with Prof. J.D. Cole, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The investigations were carried out within the framework of small disturbance theory.
