Recent Advances in Ferrite‐Based Materials for Biomedical Applications: A Comprehensive Review
Ferrite nanoplatforms are presented as tunable biomedical materials in which synthesis control, cation engineering, defect/morphology regulation, and surface functionalization govern structure–property–bioactivity relationships. These design strategies enable multifunctional applications including MRI contrast, magnetic hyperthermia, targeted drug ...

Two Lines Enable FasTrack Breeding in Blueberry
The juvenile period of blueberry seedlings typically lasts ≈3 to 4 years. To shorten this period and facilitate FasTrack breeding, we developed transgenic ‘Aurora’ blueberry plants with constitutive expression of the blueberry FLOWERING LOCUS T gene ...

Angstrom‐Scale Confined Ion Sieve and Accelerator for Efficient Aqueous Zinc Batteries
An angstrom‐scale confined ion accelerator strategy is proposed for ultra‐stable aqueous Zn anodes. Selective and precise transport of hydrated Zn(H2O)62+, Zn2+ cations, H2O molecules, and SO42− anions is achieved by in‐plane atomic Ti vacancies and angstrom‐scale interlayer free spacing within the Ti0.87O2 interfacial layer, leading to homogeneous Zn ...

High‐Performance Bio‐Glue From the Berries of a Parasitic Plant
We report a fully bio‐based adhesive derived primarily from a (poly)saccharide extract obtained from the berries of the hemi‐parasitic plant mistletoe (Viscum album), supplemented with tannic and malic acid without any further chemical functionalization.

Cloning of FLOWERING LOCUS C ortholog in Wasabia japonica (Matsum.)
A FLOWERING LOCUS T ortholog (WjFT) was identified in Wasabia japonica. Heterologous expression of WjFT remarkably promoted the flowering of Arabidopsis. The expression of WjFT was examined in field-grown wasabi in October and November of 2009, and February of 2010 because the differentiation of flower buds occurs in autumn in field-grown wasabi.

Universal Strategy for Phase‐Selective Synthesis of Monolayer TMDs via Colloidal Chemistry
ABSTRACT Colloidal synthesis of monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) remains challenging regarding uniform size, thickness, and crystalline phase. While significant progress has been made in phase engineering, a unified chemical strategy for on‐demand selection of both 2H and 1T′ phases across multiple TMD systems within a single chemical ...

Background In citrus the transition from juvenility to mature phase is marked by the capability of a tree to flower and fruit consistently. The long period of juvenility in citrus severely impedes the use of genetic based strategies to improve fruit ...

By growing a conformal ZIF‐8 protective layer directly on antibody‐functionalized microneedles, this work converts a fragile biosensing interface into a thermostable diagnostic platform. The MOF@MN patch enables minimally invasive NGAL detection from dermal ISF while supporting cold‐chain‐independent storage and transport for decentralized kidney ...
