ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness with potential life‐threatening crises. Timely interventions may be delayed by limited access to care and fragmented documentation. Our objective was to develop predictive algorithms for MG deterioration using multimodal telemedicine data ...

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

Effects of outbreeding depression on meristics and bilateral asymmetry in hybrids of spatially separated populations of pink salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha) [PDF]
Thesis (M.S.) University of Alaska Fairbanks, 2005Different populations of a species distributed over diverse conditions adapt to their local environments to improve their ability to survive or reproduce. Intraspecific hybridization can alter the locally

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Fluctuating Asymmetry and Stress in Macaca fuscata: Does Captivity Affect Morphology?
Fluctuating Asymmetry (FA) in morphology is used as a proxy for developmental instability in response to stress factors. FA has important implications for understanding the impact of differential environments and stressors on the skeletal phenotype. Here,

Complexity Phenomena and ROMA of the Magnetospheric Cusp, Hydrodynamic Turbulence, and the Cosmic Web [PDF]
Dynamic Complexity is a phenomenon exhibited by a nonlinearly interacting system within which multitudes of different sizes of large scale coherent structures emerge, resulting in a globally nonlinear stochastic behavior vastly different from that could ...
