A Differential Fluctuation Theorem
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2008We derive a nonequilibrium thermodynamics identity (the "differential fluctuation theorem") that connects forward and reverse joint probabilities of nonequilibrium work and of arbitrary generalized coordinates corresponding to states of interest. This identity allows us to estimate the free energy difference between domains of these states. Our results

Fluctuation theorem: A critical review
Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 2017Fluctuation theorem for entropy production is revisited in the framework of stochastic processes. The applicability of the fluctuation theorem to physico-chemical systems and the resulting stochastic thermodynamics were analyzed. Some unexpected limitations are highlighted in the context of jump Markov processes.

Abstract We introduce a theoretical technique known as the two-point measurement scheme, which allows us to derive a variety of quantum fluctuation theorems with the same form as in classical stochastic thermodynamics. Alternatively, we show how to study fluctuations based on a quantum master equation approach combined with counting ...
