The Effects of Particle LET and Fluence on the Complexity and Frequency of Clustered DNA Damage
Motivation: Clustered DNA-lesions are predominantly induced by ionizing radiation, particularly by high-LET particles, and considered as lethal damage. Quantification of this specific type of damage as a function of radiation parameters such as LET, dose

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

High Charge Carrier Mobility in Non‐Conjugated 3D Covalent Organic Frameworks
A non‐conjugated 3D COF constructed via boronate ester linkages from tetraphenylene and pyrene‐based monomers is reported, which exhibits a high charge carrier mobility of 14 ± 1 cm2 V−1 s−1. ABSTRACT π‐Conjugation, π–π stacking, and long‐range order play a central role in determining charge transport efficiency in organic materials.

Proof-of-Concept Recirculating Air Cleaner Evaluation in a Pig Nursery
Low ventilation rates used to conserve energy in pig nurseries in winter can worsen air quality, harming piglet health. A recirculating air cleaner consisting of a dust filter and ultraviolet C (UVC) lamps was evaluated in a pig nursery.

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...
