Statistical field theory for polar fluids [PDF]
Using a variational field-theoretic approach, we derive a theory for polar fluids. The theory naturally accounts for the reaction field without resorting to the cavity construct and leads to a simple formula for the dielectric constant in terms of the molecular dipole moment and density.

The Characteristic of Flow Field and Emissions of a Concentric Staged Lean Direct Injection (LDI) Combustor [PDF]
The characteristic of flow field and emissions was investigated by numerical simulation for a concentric staged lean direct injection combustor, the non-reaction and reaction flow fields were studied under idle and takeoff conditions, and the effect of ...

SCALAR FIELD COSMOLOGIES WITH VISCOUS FLUID [PDF]
We investigate cosmological models with a free scalar field and a viscous fluid. We find exact solutions for a linear and nonlinear viscosity pressure. Both yield singular and bouncing solutions. In the first regime, a de Sitter stage is asymptotically stable, while in the second case we find power-law evolutions for a vanishing cosmological constant.

Effect of gas compressibility on fluid field of air‐cooled turbo‐generator
The effect of gas compressibility on the fluid flow characteristics of a 350 MW air‐cooled turbo‐generator is investigated in this paper. Two gas models taking gas compressibility and incompressibility into account are established for numerical ...

Analysis of Temperature Field and Water Cooling of Outer Rotor In-Wheel Motor for Electric Vehicle
In view of the narrow installation space of high power density and high torque in-wheel motor, the heat existed the in-wheel motor is balanced by cooling water channel to ensure the heat dissipation of the high power density in-wheel motor. In this paper,

Field theory for charged fluids and colloids [PDF]
A systematic field theory is presented for charged systems. The one-loop level corresponds to the classical Debye-H ckel (DH) theory, and exhibits the full hierarchy of multi-body correlations determined by pair-distribution functions given by the screened DH potential.

Dielectric fluid in inhomogeneous pulsed electric field [PDF]
We consider the dynamics of a compressible fluid under the influence of electrostrictive ponderomotive forces in strong inhomogeneous nonstationary electric fields. It is shown that if the fronts of the voltage rise at a sharp, needle-like electrode are rather steep (less than or about nanoseconds), and the region of negative pressure arises, which can

Comparison of ventilation methods used during tunnel construction
Ensuring adequate ventilation during tunnel construction is a critical issue that directly affects construction efficiency. A good ventilation environment can effectively guarantee the construction progress.
