Physicochemical Evolution of Hydrothermal Fluids in the Kuh-e-Esfand porphyry Copper System, South of Jiroft, Kerman Province

open access: yesJournal of Economic Geology
The Kuh-e-Esfand copper deposit is located in the southernmost part of the Urmia-Dokhtar magmatic belt. The Oligocene-Miocene intrusive bodies, ranging from diorite to quartz diorite and granodiorite, are emplaced within the Eocene volcanic complex ...

Comparative Evaluation of Hemodiafiltration, Hemoperfusion, and Standard Hemodialysis on Efficacy, Inflammatory Control, Dialysis Adequacy, and Safety in End‐Stage Renal Disease: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Talc-bearing Metadolomites of the Itaiacoca Group, Paraná (Southern Brazil): Fluid Regime and Genetic Implications [PDF]

open access: yesGeologia USP. Série Científica, 2011
Brazil’s largest talc deposits occur in the Itaiacoca Group, which is a low-grade metasedimentary belt composedmainly of dolomitic rocks. Fluid inclusions from three geological settings in which talc was formed differently wereanalysed.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Characteristic Analysis on Fluid Inclusions of Vein Quartz in Western Hubei Province

open access: yesKuangchan zonghe liyong, 2023
This is an article in the field of process mineralogy. As the raw material of high-grade quartz products,higher-purity quartz sand has strict requirements on impurity elements.Besides that, the presence of inclusions has an important impact on its purity ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
