Fluid Flow Interactions in Hydraulic Machinery
1996The paper deals with the fluid flow interactions between rotor and stator as well as rotor and side spaces of hydraulic machinery. It is shown that the flow through the rotor strongly influences the leakage flow through the side space, the friction torque and the axial forces acting on the rotor.
