Numerical study of secondary mass flow modulation in a Bypass Dual-Throat Nozzle [PDF]
The fluidic thrust-vectoring modulation on a Bypass Dual-Throat Nozzle (BDTN) is studied numerically. The thrust vectoring modulation is obtained by varying the secondary mass flow, introducing different area contraction ratios of the bypass duct.

Multi-Objective Optimal Design of a Fluidic Thrust Vectoring Nozzle [PDF]
Fluidic Thrust Vectoring (FVT) systems based on Coanda jets are amongst the most promising technologies being considered for future flapless aircraft. One of the core components of a Coanda FTV device is the main jet nozzle, featuring a circular inflow section (at the aft end of the engine) and a high aspect ratio, rectangular outflow section.

Closed-Loop Control of a Piezo-Fluidic Amplifier
Fluidic valves based on the Coand\u{a} effect are increasingly being considered for use in aerodynamic flow control applications. A limiting factor is their variation in switching time, which often precludes their use.

Performance of a turbojet engine with fluidic thrust vectoring
AbstractThe objective of the present work is to estimate the performance of a turbojet engine during Fluidic Thrust Vectoring (FTV) employed by injecting the secondary-jet at the throat of a convergent nozzle. The nozzle performance maps and effective nozzle throat area obtained from experiments are coupled with the performance of a conventional engine

A Comparison Of Different Technologies For Thrust Vectoring In A Linear Aerospike [PDF]
The aerospike nozzle represents an interesting technology for Single-Stage-To-Orbit vehicles because of its self-adapting capability. It is possible to get thrust vectoring capabilities in different ways.

The influence of convective exchanges on coandã effect [PDF]
Modeling Coandã effect has been a fundamental issue in fluid dynamic research in the XX century. It has lost some interest because of the improvement in CFD, even if it could be still important in the area of the preliminary design of aerodynamic devices

Numerical Study of Fluidic Thrust Vector Control Using Dual Throat Nozzle
Compared to a variety of mechanical vectoring nozzles, fluidic vectoring nozzles possess more research value nowadays. The dual throat nozzle is gradually developing into an outstanding technology to handle supersonic and hypersonic aircraft deflections.

Analysis of the forces driving the oscillations in 3D fluidic oscillators [PDF]
One of the main advantages of fluidic oscillators is that they do not have moving parts, which brings high reliability whenever being used in real applications.
