Insecticide Seed Treatments Reduced Crop Injury from Flumioxazin, Chlorsulfuron, Saflufenacil, Pyroxasulfone, and Flumioxazin + Pyroxasulfone + Chlorimuron in Soybean [PDF]
With increased instances of weed resistance to applications of postemergence herbicides, the use of soil-applied herbicides that offer residual activity is becoming popular.

Production and quality of cowpea seeds desiccated with saflufenacil and flumioxazin [PDF]
The use of desiccants allows to anticipate cowpea harvest at a time closer to physiological maturity. The desiccants saflufenacil and flumioxazin promote the drying and falling of leaves and loss of water from seeds.

NiH-Catalyzed Enantioconvergent α-Alkenylation of Carbonyl Compounds via Markovnikov Alkyne Hydronickellation. [PDF]
A NiH‐catalyzed α‐alkenylation via Markovnikov hydronickellation of alkynes enables convenient access to α‐chrial β‐methylene carbonyl frameworks that are prevalent in biorelevant molecules. High regio‐ and enantioselectivities have been achieved with excellent functional group tolerance and applicability toward complex structures. The β‐methylene unit

Fendioxypyracil, a new and systemic PPO-inhibiting herbicide for X-spectrum weed control. [PDF]
This graphical abstract presents the discovery and synthesis of PPO herbicide structures with a central pyridine core, showing molecular conformations, dose–response inhibition curves for PPO1 and PPO2, and comparative weed and grass control efficacy of fendioxypyracil versus other herbicides in greenhouse and field trials.

Herbicide toxicity to Nitrospirillum amazonense: assessing bacterial survival and microbial functionality. [PDF]
Herbicides elicit a spectrum of responses in Nitrospirillum amazonense, ranging from the stimulation of metabolic functions (biological nitrogen fixation, IAA production) to significant growth inhibition and acute toxicity. Abstract BACKGROUND Herbicides can exert significant toxicity on nontarget organisms, including plant growth‐promoting bacteria ...

Lack of confirmatory data following Article 12 MRL reviews for dicloran, fenazaquin and tebufenozide. [PDF]
Abstract In accordance with Article 31 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002, the European Commission mandated EFSA to issue a statement concerning confirmatory data that were not submitted by the set deadline by the applicant following Article 12 MRL reviews under Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 for the active substances dicloran, fenazaquin and tebufenozide ...

Poa annua becomes the first weed to evolve resistance to indaziflam applied preemergence and early-postemergence. [PDF]
We report the first confirmed global case of Poa annua evolving resistance to indaziflam applied both preemergence and early‐postemergence. Resistance intensified under cool temperatures, was not reversed by metabolic inhibitors, and was often linked to multiple resistance, underscoring urgent needs for integrated weed management.
