Stereoscopic fluorescein angiography of the fundus

Documenta Ophthalmologica, 1981
The fundus of the eye is a three-dimensional organ. The usual two-dimensional representation of the angiogram provides us with incomplete information. It is true that it is usually possible by indirect means to deduce at which level the pathological process is taking place, but a simple technique enables one to register and project the angiogram ...

Comparison of Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography and Fluorescein Angiography for the Identification of Retinal Vascular Changes in Eyes With Diabetic Macular Edema.

Ophthalmic Surgery Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2016
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE To compare the visualization of microaneurysms (MA) and the foveal avascular zone (FAZ) area using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) versus fluorescein angiography (FA) in patients with diabetic macular edema (DME).

Fluorescein Angiography in Eales' Disease

American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1970
The cause of retinal vasculature periphlebitis is not known, but probably constitutes a local manifestation of a systemic or general ized disease; inflammatory, vascular, endo crine and hematologie disorders have been suggested as factors in its pathogenicity." Initially, vascular periphlebitis is charac terized by a slight localized peripheral ...

Fluorescein angiography in hypertensive pregnancies

International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 1991
A retrospective study in two university hospitals investigating retinal changes in pregnancies complicated by hypertension, seldom revealed retinal vascular changes in pre-eclamptic toxemia. Fluorescein angiography was performed on 16 severe pre-eclamptic toxemias and 14 chronic hypertension pregnancies.

Findings of OCT‐angiography compared to fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography in central serous chorioretinopathy

Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, 2018
The present study analyzed the appearances of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) based on fluorescein angiography (FA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA).

Rapid Access Fluorescein Angiography

American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1978
The time interval usually required for processing fluorescein angiography films has been dramatically shortened to 90 seconds by using Kodak Linagraph Shellburst Film 2474 processed in the automatic Kodak RP X-omat processing machine, with attendant increases in image clarity and contrast.

Fluorescein Angiography: Techniques and Toxicity

International Ophthalmology Clinics, 1977
Fluorescein angiography is a safe, well-standardized procedure for establishing fundus abnormalities. It facilitates documentation of the finest detail of the fundus, allows estimation of the blood flow through the retina, and permits the doctor to evaluate the integrity of the retinal vessels.

Atlas of Fluorescein Angiography

Archives of Ophthalmology, 1995
Dr Harney and Messrs Hart and Grey have produced a beautiful slide atlas of fluorescein angiography to help guide the general ophthalmologist. The goals, as stated in the preface, are to describe the indications and interpretation of fluorescein angiograms of common retinal disorders.
