An in vitro testicular model is developed by generating connective tissue equivalents from human dermal fibroblast‐derived microtissues and coupling them with human Sertoli cells or human Sertoli cell spheroids. This engineered microenvironment supports Sertoli cell maturation and functionality, providing a promising platform for studying human ...

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

Two derivatives of fluorescein, termed "xanthamides," were prepared from fluorescein, an inexpensive dye. Relative to fluorescein, which contains a 6-phenolic OH and a 2'-carboxyl, the first derivative (5) contains a carboxymethyl ether at the 6-position and a secondary amide of dimethylamine at the 2'-position.

Alkoxy-Substituted Quadrupolar Fluorescent Dyes
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022Polar and polarizable π-conjugated organic molecules containing push-pull chromophores have been investigated extensively in the past. Identifying unique backbones and building blocks for fluorescent dyes is a timely exercise. Here, we report the synthesis and characterization of a series of fluorescent dyes containing quadrupolar A-D-A constitutions ...

Terrylenimides: New NIR Fluorescent Dyes
Chemistry – A European Journal, 1997AbstractTerrylenimides 3 and 4 represent a new class of blue colorants, exhibiting absorption maxima at 650 to 700 nm and fluorescence emissions in the NIR region (673 to 750 nm). The terrylenimides were synthesized by means of various organometallic coupling reactions, catalyzed by transition metal complexes (Nio, Pdo) and starting from the aromatic ...
