X‐Ray and Electron Spectroscopy of the CdS/(Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)Se2 Interface With RbF Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The chemical and electronic structure of the CdS/(Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 interface with RbF treatment is investigated using a combination of synchrotron‐ and laboratory‐based soft and hard X‐ray spectroscopies. A Rb–In–Se species is found at the absorber surface, with a band gap of 2.8 eV, in contrast to comparable Ag‐free Cu(In,Ga)Se2 absorbers with RbF‐

[18F]F2 – New production methods and applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Fluorine-18 is a positron emitting radioisotope. It has a half-life of 109.8 min, a simple decay profile and low positron energy as a result of which properties fluorine-18 is an excellent candidate for use in the production of tracers for positron ...

Tailoring the Solid Electrolyte Interphase Composition on Lithium Metal Anodes by the Choice of Ionic Liquid during Mechanochemical Modification

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Roll‐pressing lithium foil in contact with ionic liquids is used to produce modified lithium anodes. The differences in performance, composition, and evolution upon cycling of the anodes depending on the ionic liquid used are highlighted, when used in combination with a classical Li‐ion electrolyte.

Stabilizing TiO2/CsPbI2Br Perovskite Buried Interface for All‐Inorganic Perovskite toward Highly Efficient Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Polyvinyl pyrrolidone passivation enhances TiO2/CsPbI2Br interfaces, suppressing recombination and improving photodetector performance with faster response, higher photoresponsivity, and superior detectivity. Abstract Inorganic perovskites hold immense promise for optoelectronic applications, but their performance is often hindered by defects and trap ...

Preclinical evaluation of [18F]SYN1 and [18F]SYN2, novel radiotracers for PET myocardial perfusion imaging

open access: yesEJNMMI Research
Background Positron emission tomography (PET) is now an established diagnostic method for myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) in coronary artery disease, which is the main cause of death globally. The available tracers show several limitations, therefore,
